My Beautiful Mother: I Love You
“The Heavens are full of angels yet some are with us here
To nurture love and guide us and wipe away our tears”
My Mom
My mom you are an angel
A rare and precious gem
Your love for me as deep as the sea
Its vastness has no end
There will never be a heart as deep
As the one that beats in you
Your children first it’s been your curse
A soul so pure and true
A brave face you’re always showing
You exhibit a lion’s pride
But in the center soft and tender
If you feel you’re cast aside
My mom if ever I hurt you
By the things I may have said
Please know I regret and will never forget
By your hands I know I’ve been led
You created a foundation of love
In the care and protection of me
My belief, my faith, God’s love I embrace
Because of what you have taught me to see.
