Is Jesus part of your life,
  or is He all of it?
You will know when there's strife, 
  convicted in your spirit. 
If He is just a part, 
  what's the rest of the whole?
What else is there in your heart,
  and what is its goal?

Since He is the only way
  the other part is not of Him. 
Does not matter what you pray,
  for that part will lead to sin.
One cannot serve two parts
  when He requires the all. 
Man cannot have two hearts. 
We must live as called.

If He's Lord of the part
  He's not the Lord of all. 
He must reign all the heart
  or we will certainly fall.

Convict us, Lord, of the truth. 
Are You our All in all?
Let us see the needed proof
  that we would live as called.
May we cast off the horrid part
  that You would be the Lord. 
May we be moved to give the heart
  You cannot be ignored.
