The world outside has a bedraggled look,
flattened and wet, the sun has forsook...
but here I'm warm, 'cause my heart glows for you!

Wet pine straw and cones all scattered about,
makes me want to stay in, just not to go out...
wrap up and dream of our love so true!

Bad weather to me is a reminder from above,
of Who is in charge, Who still holds us with love...
just as He put me together with you!

I treasure all the blessings Jesus has given to me,
but most of His coming to rescue and set me free,
and blessing me with such love in you!

I will spend every minute of this day,
thanking God, and loving you in all I do and say...
oh, my Lucian, how very much I LOVE YOU!!
