Just that morning I had whispered,
"Graduation Day is near",
Though she seemed to be unconscious
Still I murmured in her ear.

For so long an inspiration,
Heaven's fragrance spread abroad,
Swinging on the gates of heaven
Soon the angels would applaud.

Though her life was full of briers
Still awards her beauty won,
For her love and faith ne'er faltered
Stirring faith in every one.

Now her course was near completion,
Highest honors she'd receive,
For her life reflected Jesus
Causing others to believe.

"Long ago you placed your children
In the loving arms of God,
Though we miss you, still we follow,
Walking down the path you trod."
