His attention never falters,
I'm always in God's care,
And just because my life is tough
Does not mean He's not there.

His eye is always on me,
He's working for my good,
And though through valleys I must walk
It will be understood.

His love for me is constant,
I never need to fear,
There are no times He walks away,
When He's no longer near.

He knows me so completely,
Equips me for each task,
And promises fulfillment
Beyond what I could ask.

So though I travel through a fog,
My way does not seem clear,
He'll finish what He started,
There is no cause for fear.

The enemy would whisper,
"In this you're all alone."
But this I know, in this I rest,
God cherishes His own.
