Back in the day times were hard,

You had to work all day long and hard,

Today kids are given everything,

And they hardly work for anything,

Kids nowadays are worried about looking good,

When back in the day, they worried about having enough to eat good,

The society of today,

Is far away,

From the society of years and years ago,

For the society of today,

Has nothing good to say,

But the society of years and years ago,

Had good morals and good English, instead of “Yo”.
