Righteousness Cry

Righteousness is crying out, pleading, begging for someone to want it. But because the world is addicted to sin and what we want to do we do not hear the cry.

We as a people are addicted to sin. Addicted, what is that? Have you ever been addicted to anything in this life? Addiction is the quality or state of being one that is devoted by surrenderance of to something habitually, obsessively and compulsively needed for fulfillment and use of a habit. It may be drugs, cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin, nicotine, alcohol, sex, and sexual perversion. The habit is characterized by tolerance and by well defined physiological symptoms upon withdrawal. There is a persistent compulsion for the use of substances or things known by the user to be harmful to the mind or body and to others.

Devotion
As we look we can see the devotion and love that these people have for the wrong things in life, a wonder is always there. If that drive was used for righteousness what would the world be like? There are good characteristics associated with the wrong things as well as the right things but what would happen if these energies were redirected to righteousness? They commit themselves to solemn acts of wrongdoing. They give themselves over to and direct all there attention to what they want. All there time is spent thinking of what they will do for money to get there next fix. They care but cannot help themselves when duty calls. There is no care for who they use or who gets hurt in the process. Much care and effort is put into getting that hit. Look at the devotion and dedication exclusively for what they want. Like their father the Devil they are great liars, deceivers, and will kill. They are solemnly sold out to their habits of unrighteousness. They worship and idolize this stuff with loyalty. On the other hand the ones that sell them the stuff is on a high also. They too need deliverance. There is a hype of getting the money and being the man in charge. They practice what they are going to do religiously. The game is very thought out by these people. I have lived on both sides of the face of addiction.

Need versus Want
A spirit of need and want and just how far one is willing to go to get what they want. There is loyalty associated with their awakening everyday. If they wake up in the morning it is with an unswerving of allegiance to what they want. They faithfully start that day with where or who am I going to get money from today to get my desired fix or drink. If they credit drugs they are more faithful to pay the drug dealer for fear of their lives than give God the tithe or the bill collectors there due notes. Why don’t they fear God that can also allow them to not wake up in the morning? They are faithful to the wrong cause, ideal or product. It is not lawful or legitimate.

Accuracy
Another attribute that is noticeable with these ungodly addicted folks is the fact that they are accurate in the things they set out to do reproducing the same effect in their lives each day. They pledge allegiance to make the dream of a hit everyday no matter what they have to do or who it hurts and how disappointed they cause love ones to be.

Faithfulness
Addictions calls for the same continuing faithfulness as God has required of the true bible believer. God requires strict and continuing faithfulness to the believer obligations and duty to Him the creator and lover of their souls. The addict adheres solemnly to the call of the drug. God requires the Christian to adhere solemnly to His call as well. The Christian vow to obey God, the addicts vow faithfully in their use of whatever it is that they are addicted to. When faced in a situation to renounce the habit, desert it, or betray it they plead the fifth or argue the fact or tell you to get out of their business.

Zeal & Self Dedication
The zeal and service amounting to self dedication is another attribute that God intended for His use only. They take a real sense of obligation in wrong doing more serious than the Christians do in obeying God. There is a fire burning inside of them that they think will explode like dynamite if their lust is not fulfilled. In the midst of all this God still loves us and he is the only one that change not. It is a fact that we the people have to change though. All of those attributes we use for wrong doing, unrighteousness, and sin needs to be rechanneled to righteousness to bring glory to God before we are caught up in the channels of death, hell and the grave. God is the only immutable being in the earth because he created it all. Malachi 3:6, for I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Isaiah 55:6-7, seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call upon him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Come from behind the falseness and follow God. The minds of the saved and unsaved alike is so messed up by their habits that it causes unbelief and mistrust for the truth. Our duty to serve God becomes a burden, a heavy load, is oppressive, our emotions carry a weight, strain, stress and pressure to do the right things. But the prophets came to change the hearts of the bound, afflicted and diseased and righteousness is yet calling. If everything else you have tried is failing you, try God that will not fail you. It is time to get to work and use those attributes for the kingdom of God.

For the love of money, what want the addicted do? Get full of Jesus and not full of the stuff that ends in death, destruction and eternal damnation. Too many Christians are drinking of the world principals and are just as drunk as the sinner that has ungodly addictions. In every sense we deny God is able when we go to the world for help that only God should supply. Philippians 4:19, but my God shall supply all my need according to his riches through Christ Jesus. Then after we do things we dress it up to fit the equation of what we have done to make us look good. We are drunk off of pride. Shame on us, we are an adulterous and sinful generation. God hates it and Satan loves it. If we continue in our evil, how can the sinner turn? We cannot teach one thing and live another; God forbid.

Alcoholics or drunkards are those who habitually drink intoxicating beverages immoderately. God is asking how long, will we be drunk. Put away thy wine from thee. Proverbs 20:1, wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise. Its taking your money so let it go. You are always sorry and contentious because it bites you like a serpent and stings like an adder. It causes us to see perversely.

Ungodly sexual acts are caused by men and women intoxicated off of the wrong things and they will engage in ungodly behavior with ungodly people not considering God, their love ones or each other. There is a sense of pride associated with their doings. A sword is coming and it will cut up that these things will rise no more. There are no reasonable excuses for sin in this world. Matthew 15:19, says for out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, and blasphemies. These are prevalent even in the churches now. Have we passed Sodom and Gomorrah in our sexually perverted ways?

Light has come to the world but we love darkness rather than light because our deeds testify to it. Man is not blind to sin today therefore they reject Jesus’ love and have no cloak for their sin. John 3:19, and this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. We know the love of God is not in us when we do not honor God in our doings. Mouth says anything but the spirit of truth has not been received because we act like we do not know who Jesus really is. He does not have to do anything else; we walk by faith and not by sight.

We must have respect for ourselves and others. There is actually a hatred of one’s own self, they have low self esteem that is eminent and they does not feel good about anything in life. Most people with addictions do not finish anything they start to the end. They usually are selfish beings, disgraceful and a lying manipulator. Righteousness is crying out for the souls of men and women everywhere. Somebody please hear and answer the call.
