I am overwhelmed by the great deception and beguilement Satan has pulled over the Church of Christ in these last of the last days. Our preachers so often crouch in fear of their congregations and what they might think if the man of God simply declared the holiness of God and the depravity of man. Evil is called good and good is called evil; loose and sensual worship and standards are called "liberty and having an educated conscience" while godly separation and holiness are called "narrow-mindedness." THIS IS THE BETRAYAL OF THE AGES!

If Christ returned today, he would find a church that is radically different from the one of the New Testament: so weak; so powerless; so compromised; so shallow; so deceived; so WORLDLY!
I am so appalled and broken; I am literally at the point of tears at the deception our young people and even leaders. Words fail me for the grief of my heart, yet I know nothing of the grief our LORD and Savior feels.

All morals and standards and absolute rights and wrong are made into a sick, hellish lie that is called humanism–oh though we disguise that condemning name into other things, such as "not being a stumbling block" or "educating our conscience" or "trying to build a relationship with the world." It is compromise at best; disobedience is more likely what it is.

I know people are upset and quite perturbed at me for writing about it, yet it is true and how dare we suppose that God shall overlook such rebellion? GOD WILL NO TURN A BLIND EYE TO SUCH REBELLION! He is watching, and all those who compromise, fall into it or allow it will give account.

We have watered down the absolutes of Scripture with intellectual Christianity. Oh I am not arguing for ignorant Christianity, but I am crying for one that is based on the Word of God and not the ideas of mental midgets in classrooms, seminaries and or churches. Where are the men of God who will stand against the wicked and the disobedient and cry against their sins? We speak so often of great Christian heroes and preachers. Leonard Ravenhill put it oh so well when he said, "Ah! brother preachers, we love the old saints, missionaries, martyrs, reformers, Luthers, Bunyans, Wesleys, Asburys, etc. We will write their biographies, reverence their memories, frame their epitaphs, and build their cenotaphs. We will do anything but imitate them!"

We debate over things such as social drinking, rock music, CCM, and things as these as if they were somehow acceptable or even debatable! People say, "Oh how the culture has changed..." The Scriptures have NOT changed!" My how the church has changed–for the worse.

I sound negative...yes, so did most of the prophets and Christ and the apostles. Jesus Christ was the not the weakling most would make him to be. Oh yes he had great love for sinners, but my could he ever become righteously indignant. Flipping tables, cursing the religious hypocrites, and proclaiming the narrowness of the Gospel. You know what I think? I don't believe Christ would last a day in Fundamentalism; he would be far too "narrow-minded" and far to dogmatic and far too HOLY for most churches and schools. If Christ came back today, he would cleanse the church; right after he cleansed the pulpit.

I pray that we would "seek the old paths" and remove not "the ancient landmark." May God give us young men and women who would rise above compromise and be separated unto the Gospel and who would be not ashamed of the Gospel. We have heard much this year of "living in light of the Gospel, but my how we have hear little OF THE GOSPEL. The gospel is not wide and open to different styles and ideas, but was and still is narrow; extremely narrow. We have dumbed it down into saying "uh-huh" three or four times when prompted at an altar call or invitation, but it is more than that dear friend; it is total and absolute surrender to Jesus Christ because HE IS WORTHY! It is surrender of your fleshly passions and desires and personal goals and ambitions and is a life-long commitment to falling at the feet of King Jesus and serving Him that HE might gain glory, NOT YOU! My how we have turned the glory of God into the glory of man. Christ did not save you only to keep you out of Hell; he did not save you to make you happy or to give you peace or wealth and health; he saved you to bring HIM glory.

I know I am a miserable sinner and a poor excuse for a servant of God, yet I have no other desire than to: Live for the glory of God, Preach the Whole counsel of God, and cry out against the sins of the wicked and point them to Christ. I am not burdened down by the fear of men, or what they might think of me. God as my witness, I care so much more about what my precious Savior thinks than men that I am as a man resigned unto death. My life is not mine; my death happened years ago when I realized that I was a poor sinner standing before a holy and righteous God deserving of Hell with no excuse or hope–outside of Jesus Christ. I realized that no pleasure of Earth could compare with the joy and reward of giving my life to serve and love my LORD and my Savior Jesus Christ. So I tell you in honesty, no slander can touch me; no ridicule can move me; no rejection can phase me; I am not my own, but am bought with a price and I pray that my life may be spent and poured out for Christ.

Who will come out from among the word and be separate? Though no one join me, I will follow Christ. By God's grace, I pray that my life would be used to stir such a profound stink in the kingdom of Satan–the like of which this world has not seen in a long time. May God use this poor preacher to proclaim the whole counsel of His Word; and may He raise up a remnant to stand for Jesus Christ at any cost. What is this life? What is man's approval? What is earthly reward? DUNG. Only what is done for Christ will last.

May God revive his lukewarm American Church; and may He cleanse her of her sins and compromise–her utter fornication with the Prince of Darkness.

May God do a work of grace in our hearts and bring down those who would compromise His precious honor and name. Amen.

~Job 21:3
