Paint for me a picture,
make it soft, strong, and bold
make it dance with great colors
it should never grow old

Let it warm the whole room
cast light in the dark,
it should make babies smile
and lift up lonely's heart

Let it stir great emotions
and passion is strong
from the art, deepest love,
as the heart sings a song

Please frame it with nothing
for the beauty would hide
use brushes so tender
then bring it inside.

Lift it up to the wall,
the same one as mine,
then, Artist please stay
and don't let us fall

My request you have granted
her painting I see
thank you, God, for this work of art
you've made next to me.
