You are not A God....you ARE God. Sound like blasphemy? Of course it does because that's the way we've been conditioned to believe, but I assure you it is scriptural.
Genesis 1:1 states that God created all things--including us. The Bible also states that we are children of God, heirs, a temple of God and many more examples.
Lets compare it to being in a physical family. Say you are born to a wealthy family that has not only everything it needs, but everything it desires. You are entitled to all those "riches", you are also in the will. You have the same status as your wealthy parents. You can go anywhere and state the fact that you are the child of Mr. and Mrs. so and so and you will be accepted and lavished upon just like your parents.
So it is with your spiritual family status. You are part of God, God is part of you. God is the Universe, you are in the Universe, therefore you are the Universe. Picture the Universe as a large body of water--never ending. If you take a cup of water out (you), the water in the cup is still just as much water as the remaining body of water is.
We have been taught and conditioned to believe that God is an external being "out there" somewhere. False. God is within every single thing-including you. Since God is everywhere, God is not only within you God IS you. We must alter our perception, condition ourselves to believe correctly and undo the harmful brainwashing that society has imposed on us from day one.
Once we align ourselves with God, we can begin to enjoy the blessings waiting to be bestowed upon us. All the "things" and feelings that we want, need and desire are already in the Universe, we need to accept those gifts and realize that they are available NOW--not sometime in the future. But realize also that we have the choice to accept or refuse. Which will you do?
