Approval with God is the most important reason to study the Bible. The Bible isn't just words in and of a story, the Bible is the historical word of God. When one thinks of the word "historical" one thinks of the past.But,it must be remembered everyday produces history, therefore, historical is not only the past, it includes the present. God's word is the same yesterday, today and forever. God created the heavens, the earth, mankind and everything it would take to provide for survival. It is through the study of God's Word, one is able to receive, know and understand God, know and understand what God desires of you and allow you to realize it takes great faith to fulfill God's desires. Faith is a word we hear spoken often, but what does it really mean. The word faith is used so often it has become a familiar uplifting word that everyone speaks with a general understanding they have faith in Jesus Christ. On the surface that is a good thing because the words in the bible describe it this way; Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Heb. 11:1. Most folks can quote these words of scripture, but, when one studies God's Historical Word, through this substance, through the part and purpose of Jesus Christ, it will become clearer that Jesus "IS" the very image of God's "substance" thus having God's virtue. Therefore, faith is hope in Jesus Christ, the very image of God's virtue. Faith is not only hope but full trust in God. As our days, weeks, months and years go by, the battles each of us face so often develop less faith in God and more dependence on mankind. To be approved unto God is to be tried and accepted. The battles we face within these trying times speak volumes of hope if one is "studying God's Word. God observes everything and has provided unto us His Son, being God's virtue available to all who seek the everlasting hope of escaping this world of woe. We are accepted and approved unto God based upon how we think. Do you fully believe and trust in God through His substance! Will your reputation be accounted to your own pleasure or the pleasures and desires of God. God sent His Son and Jesus is the way to being approved unto God. The truth must be spoken regarding the ways and means people claim to walk and trust in the Lord. One must not just speak of their walk and trust, they must live the truth. It takes desire, with in depth study, to understand what has happened in the past, what and why it is happening today and what will cause the future to culminate approval unto God. Remember, the historical word of God will show you the way if you seek to know and understand.

In this world, it is important to study and learn to get ahead. At the same time, a child of God is in this world but not of this world. How can one be in this world but not of this world and survive? Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Through the study of God's Word, Jesus will show you the way. Through the study of God's Word, Jesus will show you the truth. Through the study of God's Word, Jesus will show you the life of being in this world but not of this world.

The word "Shew" often times is referred to by the word show. Even in Strong's biblical concordance, the definition of the word show refers one to look to the word "shew". All to often the word "shew" is replaced with the word show. 2 Timothy 2:15 states, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God". The bible has over 200 scriptures with the word shew. As one studies the various scriptures and discovers the variety of meanings, one will observe there is depth to the meaning and not just a word, meaning show. One can show in a number of ways an object or situation that appears to tell or reveal a specific subject or event , yet, it may not truly represent the entire story or the truth. The study of the word "shew" reveals specific requirements of God as to what is required to show oneself approved unto the King. To shew is to be able to present unto God that one is pious, capable of true worship towards God, or the parent, with respect and support of and with God. Shew is one being well-reverent, pious, devout and godly. Shew is a condition in which God can say "well done". As God's word states, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God", is stating one must prove one is capable to stand beside Him, to present and substantiate for acceptance by Him, that one is ready to assist and bring forth proof that one is ready to yield and stand with and for Him. God cannot and won't accept one without ones ability to prove one is ready to take on the work that He desires of each of His devoted children. One must truly be established in and with Him to be considered as one. God has called out to His people that they would be His representatives on earth to proclaim His truth. Without substantiated proof [shew] one will not be approved. It takes faith to become one with God. One must have a true relationship with God to have faith, but, without faith it is impossible to enter heaven.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15. Nevertheless, the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are His. And let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.2 Timothy 2:19
