If we knew that our tomorrow,
Was to be more painful than today.
Would we appreciate its splendor,
Or still whittle it away?

If we knew this very moment,
Was more precious than we thought.
Would we waste a single second,
Or be happy for what we’ve got?

If we knew our battle was not over,
Our struggles won't soon end.
Would we show ourselves resentful,
Or learn on God to depend?

If we knew this life was not ours,
To do with what we want.
Would we give it to the Lord,
Or let sin continue to us taunt?

If we knew the Lord was coming,
For those who believe in Him today.
Would we be ready to meet up with Him,
Or be looking the other way?

If we understood what we're seeing,
Is the beginning of the end.
Would we get down on our knees,
Or continue to pretend?

If you had to make a decision,
Right here, right now, today.
Would you give your heart to Jesus,
Or wait for another day?

My friend I need to tell you,
Don't put it off too much longer.
The day is coming when I won't be here,
To make my case any stronger!
