A Strong Tower


You think that no one’s watching.
You think you’re all alone in this world;
that you’re good deeds are done in vain
and that no one feels the same like you do
But it’s not true!
You’re a Strong Tower built solid like a rock
God chose you to fulfill his due.
He chose you because he knew what you could do.
Your works are not lost on the outskirts because I see them,
and I marvel at your spirit, at your heart
Doing all you can for others without a second thought.

I know sometimes it seems useless
but when I look at what you do
It gives me hope that someday I’ll be just like you,
made of a spirit made so true.
That genuine love that God has given you
has shined light on the lost few and you didn’t even notice
Because it wasn’t about you but what you were suppose to do.

Sometimes sadness will overpower you
but don’t let that discourage you because God has a plan for you.
A Strong Tower he made to stand for his name
and he chose you to fulfill this.
He chose you because he knew that your goodness
would always shine through no matter what others threw at you.
He built you like no other.

He has a special plan that only you can pull through
and all this hurt you feel when you do good and get bad
When you pull and they push
When you care and they hate
When you give and they take
Will only be a small thing at stake
because In the end God has your life’s plan in his hand.
