JESUS...“IN ALL POINTS TEMPTED AS WE ARE” - OH YEH?


With Eve and Adam the temptation was food, and Jesus withstood a
40 day fast at he beginning of His public ministry...
so He knows what it is like!

With Eve food was only the symptom - the issue was victimization and whether
Jehovah was keeping her from her rightful destiny. Jesus’ “not my will but
Thy will be done” response answers that temptation.

Adam’s fear was no doubt isolation resulting from the possible loss of Eve. Christ being misunderstood by His nation, family, disciples and even Peter’s inability to
“watch and pray” shows Christ’s been there, done that.

Many faithful believers have succumbed to the call to show off their commitment
and devotion to Yahweh. Jesus refusal to jump off the temple and demonstrate
His “trust” means He has resisted that temptation, two.

Many leaders fall when given an easier, softer way to achieve their goals. Jesus’ rejection of the devils offer to relinquish the whole world if Christ would worship him shows Jesus passed that test with flying colors.

The apparent childhood of poverty, the rejection by His own national leaders - who professed to desire His arrival, the betrayal by Judas and the sexual shame from no earthly father, all demonstrate He has been tempted like us.

The “trial” before Pilate - with all the elements of Satanic abuse - naked victim,
tortured in front of cheering spectators, who jeered at His pain and suffering
...Jesus felt it all.

Oh yes, the mob abuse by King Herod, by the Pharisee and Sadducees, by the soldiers and the un-restrained low life elements along with the devil’s fondness for any humiliation, especially rape, and you know... Jesus “was tempted in all points as we are” - yes.
