In the midst of the rush,
Striving to make ends meet.
Often failing.
My world spins out of control.

The choices facing me.
Making the right one or not.
Victory is so near.
Yet, it seems so far.

I just go a little faster.
Hiding the fear inside.
Taking different routes.
Hoping to reach that goal.

Only, they all bring me here.
This place of shadows.
Comfort.
Standing still.

Then,You come to me.
Shining Your light all around.
Calling me to your cause.
New routes were opened.

At this point in life,
Why did You call out to me?
Didn't You notice my situation?
I want to believe.

You must know what my odds are.
Yet, You called me anyway.
As if You know something I didn't.
I choose to hear Your voice.

Even against impossible odds,
Doubt and unbelief.
You invaded my life,
Calling me to obedience.
