I have learned to be content,
In whatever comes my way.
Because my Lord - my Jesus,
I trust You with my day.

Though my problems mount,
Escalate and swell.
It is in You Lord,
I choose to wait and dwell.

As my trials start to roar,
Rumbling for my defeat.
It is in You Lord ,
I find my true retreat.

When my fears begin to rise,
Tossing me all around.
It is in You Lord,
I stand on solid ground.

While the storm rages on,
Reaching its height and peak.
It is in You Lord,
I will my soul to seek.
