The wind whistled by,
The trees swayed and sighed.
And I stopped and I cried,
I felt a tear fall from the sky.
The moment that you died...

...And I felt an angel walk by...

The birds chipping in the sky,
The sun shinning so bright and high.
And I stopped and I cried,
I felt a cold chill at my side.
When you said good-bye....

...And I felt an angel walk by...

The flowers growing upward to the sky,
The leaves floating by.
And I stopped and I cried,
I felt a flutter and something fly.
When it was our last good-bye....

...And I felt an angel walk by...
