How many times has someone said something to you and it has held you back from moving forward in your life?

Its possible you have done the same thing to others, but we believe our advice is what is best for others. Have you heard this quote regarding opinions:

"Opinions are like noses. They usually have a couple of holes in them".

According to dictionary.com one definition for opinion is a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty. Does that surprise you? Based on that description people do not have all the facts when they share their perspective.

What if you could have just one perspective that is true all the time? I believe when we go to God, He is going to tell us the truth. What I like about God is He is so consistent. He cannot change.

Would you agree that people can change their opinions in an instant? God's view of us is the most accurate one. God can see what we cannot see and He knows what we or others don't know.

So how can we be free from other's opinions? Just ask yourself this one question the next time someone gives you their piece of mind:

"Does this agree with God"?

If it does agree with Him, then accept it. If it doesn't then what do you do? It's totally up to you. When you know in your heart you are doing what God has called you to do, then other's opinions really don't matter that much.

Why do we really care so much what others think of us compared to what God does? He is the only One that truly accepts us completely just as we are, doesn't He? Are we just searching and desiring for something we already have - total acceptance?

Only God will tell you the truth, accept you just as you are and will always be there for you when it seems like no one else will. Today you can be free from the opinions of others when you put your trust in the One Who truly knows you. When you agree with God, then you are in the majority.

So next time someone gives you their opinion, just remember what God has told you. When you believe Him, you can be free from the opinions of others.
