Listen again, let hearts be stirred
At Jesus’ so familiar word:
E’en in maturity, grown men,
Know this – You MUST be born again.

Born of His Spirit, Holy, true,
Born from above, Your life made new,
Born in His Resurrection Power,
Born and saved this very hour.

New life, new purpose, new desire,
New thoughts of God, spring from the fire
Of this new birth, from God above,
Conceived and born in saving love.

New power to face every new day,
New grace to meet what comes your way,
New trust, new strength, new victory,
New God-given opportunity.

New life eternal from new birth,
New family whilst here on earth,
Adopted as God’s child and heir
By grace, His richest blessings share.

New love for God who gave His Son,
New longing love to see souls won.
New answered prayers, Praise God, Amen!
All this from being born again.
