ACTS TOO:

There are some interesting lessons in Acts Two - the disciples weren’t marching in Jerusalem, Damascus or Rome - they were in total accord with each other - no striving about who was the greatest - and the Holy Spirit took control.

The disciples weren’t preaching against the Pharisees, Sadducees or even the Roman Governors. They weren’t denouncing the worldly corruption entering Judaism - they were submitting to the methods of heaven, so heaven came near.

In fact, the leaders of the “believers” had rejected John the Baptist, crucified the Messiah and totally rejected the plan from heaven, but that didn’t matter because the disciples completely yielded to that same plan from heaven - so God acted.

It didn’t matter how much sin, rebellion or evil was in the land, because the disciples accepted Jehovah’s way and yielded implicitly to His directions so the Almighty took action and changed the world.

Where are those people who will submit to Jehovah, not pushing this agenda or that idea - who just desire to see His will prevail here on earth. Those are the believers the Holy Spirit longs to find - the ones who will use heavens principles.

Any obstacles Christianity faces aren’t without -they are within. When everything is right between us and God - nothing, NOT ANYTHING can stop the purposes of the Most High. When believers are world-like in their thinking, God uses them very little.

When will some of todays believers be like Acts, too?

I am with you David! Where are the God yielded, Spirit filled believers today? Father if it be possible, restore the Church to its former glory, in Christ Jesus name I ask it! The book of Acts is a beautiful example of what HIS Church should be! God help us! Keep writing for His Glory David and God bless you!
