Racing, running too and fro
Take time to watch a child grow.
Realize the wonder of true freedom
That he or she bestows.

Buying, building things that corrode
Take time to hear the elders stories
They have much wisdom, and desire
Only that we should listen.

Fighting, struggling within and without
Take time to see the flowers, how thy grow
Or the sunrise each morn, how it glows
Each gliding bird on wing so free
All these teach us just to be.

Seeking, searching yet never being full
Take time to look inside the depths of soul
When deep inside you will see, yes darkness
But also the light and He will make you whole.
