Prayers
Hello brothers and sisters. By now you may be guessing that I intend to keep putting these prayer requests out. Thanks for praying for 1,2 and 3.
This one is for my cousin Joseph. He is a young American soldier. In late August, he was shot in the gut in Afganistan.
He's got to be feeling just lousy right now. The details of his injury were awful, and I feel very broken for him.
I may send him a letter.
Please pray that he will recover and that he can rest comfortably. Also, he is not saved, so pray for him to be receptive to Jesus.

Dear Lord,
Have mercy on Joey. Help his insides to heal up properly, and help him not to be in pain. Talk to him and show him that he needs You. Love him for me.

Praying for Joseph, Victoria! May the Lord our God bless him this moment and speak to him through the Holy Spirit. We thank you, Lord, for caring for all our troops, at home and abroad, and pray you continue to honor their faithfulness to duty for our country's safety. Open our hearts, Father, to the needs of our troops, as they set aside their families and other issues to report for duty. May their efforts be to your honor and glory. We thank you for your faithfulness to us, and we confess our sins and pray you will renew a right spirit within us all. In Jesus' name, AMEN. Shalom!
