Water if you want to be watered
For it is in giving that we receive
Give and it shall be given to you
Pressed down, shaken together
And your cup even running over.

In sharing your light your darkness flees
In speaking the truth your lies are killed
In giving mercy you obtain mercy
In making others happy, you are happy
In making others rich you become rich.

In consoling others, we are ourselves consoled
As we make our lives useful, our usefulness abounds
As we share our knowledge, our knowledge soars
Like the boy who gave his lunch and it fed thousands
Like the widow who gave her last and was excessively blessed
