I'm sorry, I can't live for You.
I've tried but I've failed. 
This caged bird can't fly the blue,
  my flesh my carnal jail.

So I repent of living for You.
How could I dare to think?
I have no strength to be true.
My strength's a dying blink. 

Let Your Spirit take the wheel.
I'll just sit beside.
Let Your life in me be real.
I want You to abide.

You're the One that died for me,
  and rose to heaven's delight.
It's my turn, so I see.
To sin I choose to die. 

But now I am alive to You.
I'm feeding off Your Spirit.
Living through me as You should,
  it's my joy to see it!

I thank You, Lord, for the truth.
My pride is rightly dented.
Your fruit in me is the proof.
I'm so glad I repented.
