Let no man despise your youth, (or look down on you) but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, (love) in spirit, in faith, in purity. 1 Timothy 4 12.

As you read that passage of scripture what do you understand? Whether an adult or a young person, this passage of scripture has great meaning for us all.

Sometimes as adults we become self-centered with our own spiritual needs, wants, and desires, that we that we neglect the responsibility that God has given to us, our children, our youth of TODAY!

Are we listening to them? Do we hear what they are saying? Do we care what they want? Do we only seek for the benefits that will “made us look better” or that praise would be given to us for their victories won?

What are our youth saying? Have you heard them lately? Have you listened to their cries? Do you know their needs? Are we doing all that we truly know we can do to help our children? Open the eyes of our heart Lord, they want to see you.
