Ajeeb kerb key sehra mein jee rahey hum hein
Sarabey zeest key darya mein jee rahey hum hein

Rakam hoyeen hein hawaun peh laghzashein apny
Sareerey jan key kaaba mein jee rehey hum hein

Tujhey khiyal mein laana bhee ik gunnah tehra
Spot saoch key kaaba mein jee rehey hum hein

Jo khud zamaney ki gardish mein bey saro saamaan
Uni Humaa key hi saaya mein jee rehey hum hein

Her aik samt sey aaty hey maut ki bearish
Ghami hayaat key nargha mein jee rehey hum hein

Her aik pal yahee khatka rehey hamein Ehsan
Keh jaisain sheeshey key kasba mein jee rehey hein

Translation of the above into English

We are living in a strange kind of the desert of agony
We are living in the river of life full of illusions

There are so many mistakes by us written on the wind
We are living in the most sacred place of mind alone

That who is himself helpless in the clutches of time
We are living under the shadow of the same sacred bird

From everywhere there is the rain of death on us
We are living the severe hold of the grief of life

We are always and every moment terrified Ehsan
That we are living in the town made of glass.
