Your heart is like a rose
surrounded by it's thorn's
should one dare to try and love you
forever she will mourn
you've hidden from the world
you think to trust will bring you pain
if only you could see
roses die without some rain
will there come a time of growth
when your petals open wide
a time when love will flourish
can I be there by your side
I'll wait till you believe
I'll cry tears until you do
My blood it bleeds upon your thorns
I've dared to love just you
