Pondered a while on where to submit this, I decided finally that, the best place really is under worship!


Went for a short walk in the blazing sun
Just like the son, burning to do me good
Whilst others complained about the heat
I said thanks for the goodness of the vitamin within

I heard the birds chirp in the trees
Sweet melodious songs wafted around me
The harmony in the rhythm captured me in awe
‘Who taught these ones the order of arranging music notes?’

I saw a river, clear sparkling water flowing by
Fish swimming lazily under the cooling substance
Sunrays dancing flirtingly making a pathway into the distance
Exotic plants moved in rhythm on the river-bed as if choreographed to do so

I held my breath as I looked closely and saw tiny little, almost microscopic life
Moving with such grace and elegance orderly not intruding on another’s space
I looked up to whisper “thanks”, more amazement awaited my eyes
Birds, elegant and swift in that beautiful, world famous V-Formation

The trees, shrub, flowers, vegetables of all shapes and sizes
All animals great and small: birds, insects, amphibians, reptiles
Warm blooded, cold-blooded, species of all sorts
Finally WE, the most beautiful handwork of His creation: HUMANS

So grateful to the one who made all things
Engineer who’s intricate handiwork is OUTSTANDING
Designer who learnt not from any Art and Design school
Architect who did not see the four walls of a university
