I never dreamed you'd be the beacon,
Through your light, I'd find my way back home.
By the rising tide, arriving safely,
To find your light was shining all along.

I always dreamed your words were spoken,
Through the dream I dreamt from way back when.
Sailed my endless nights, which were amazing!
Stars had guided me from ship to shore.

Falling in your arms, I felt your welcome.
Said you left your footprints in the sand.
I took a chance that you would find me,
Looked behind, the ocean seemed to dance!

Moon and stars then bowed to expectation,
To find the sun was rising, as if told.
I never dreamed you'd be the beacon,
The roaring tides sighed,you have made it home!
