Intuition had always been on her side, and today as the elevator door began to close, a voice said firmly, "Get Out!'


She was a woman alone with three strange men who appeared to be regulars at Gold's Gym, and recent CSI episodes in her mind, she

quickly said, "I forgot ....", and she stopped the elevator door from closing and exited in a flash, before she finished the

sentence, rushing away from a perceived evil.

Lisa found herself back at the entry level,safe now, simply because she listened to the "Voice" in her head while her heart was

rapidly thumping the walls of her chest.Parking ramps are bleak , dingy gray...they are the holding ramp for vehicles with

passengers that really did not want to be there. No one actually wants to be in a hospital, exception being the birth of a new

miracle.This visit was no birth event, it was a visit to see a mother, not in a maternity ward but in a cancer ward.

Today's visit consisted of standing outside of surgery, watching nurses carry needle biopsy lung tissue that moments before had

been inside the lung of her mother, to the lab. With legs beginning to grow weak from fear, the voice encouraged Lisa to pray. Bible

verses began resonating in her mind reminding Lisa that God is in control. Eleven times needles attempted to find a piece of

cancerous tissue in her mother's lung,and eleven times the tissue was examined and found healthy. Confusion and contempt for

medical tests that were so invasive and exhaustive, the voice again spoke and this time it was saying "enough is enough". It

was time to let it be in God's Hands, and a tired frail mother agreed.

Acceptance arrives just at dawn, after the deepest dark of night. A soft bit of light lingers allowing hope to edge back into our

lives, and a mother goes home with her daughter quietly without resistance ...a voice says "Come unto me"
.
Listening to the voice proved to be sweetest sound of protection when we learned that the cysts were non cancerous.

At that moment we heard a voice, our own, praising God.
