On A Summer Day
Walking barefoot in soft sand
While golden sun lights up the land
Sea breeze happily fills the air
Traveling graciously here and there .
Little children laugh and play
Merrily
Among the crescent -shaped bay.
Colossal clouds drift on by
Changing shapes throughout the sky
From a small horse- to a brave dragon
To a timid bunny, then to an old- fashioned
Covered wagon…
In the long, warm, splendid days
Of summer.
A season of splendor
To always remember --
Days so sweet
With joy complete
Cherishing
Happy times and memories
We secretly tuck away
Into our heart
Never to part.
Summer is a special season
Created with perfect reason
Made with love -
Overflowing …
With blessings from our Lord
Above.

Off we go again to visit the bay
Hand in hand
On a summer day.
