Waves of Change

We feel love as it comes and goes,
each a gift we many not tame,
golden, yet often, ending in change.

A door has closed but memories travel within
On the journey of the seasons,
powered by the wind.

Now I set a new course with eagerness and thrill,
no assurance of the future, courage is my will.

Trust to know each one is holding truth and purpose,
by design, closer to awakening,
ignited by the Divine.

Deep desire passionately burns,
a time to renew, removing the thorns.

Tonight a turbulent chapter with recent end,
a touch was filled with answers,
to place this life on new winds.

Landing on these feet for mercy is so kind,
further planted on new tides to sail,
with freedom on my mind.

Years of love, tears, and pain
Left this life seeking the lining
through the rain.

I can change.
