Praying the scriptures allows me to be straightforward
Praying the scriptures allows me to speak from the heart
Praying the scriptures allows me to be direct and open

We will face many events but thanks to God’s Grace
We can pray the scriptures because the men and women of the Bible
Went through the same stuff that we go through
God’s words paint life’s picture so as
We pray we simply declare it in words

The Word of God is alive and active
The Word of God gives us the right words to say—
We pray it in our situation because
Someone was also in a similar ‘situation’

Praying the scriptures allows me to be straightforward
Praying the scriptures allows me to speak from the heart
Praying the scriptures allows me to be direct and open

There is great joy in Praying the Scriptures
