Dear Jesus,
I am weary,
My eyes are seeing stars.
This hurdle rises higher,
Help me rise above the bar.
I can’t do it on my own Lord,
but with you I can fly.
Be the wind beneath my wings,
then take us to the sky.

You gave me such a vision Lord.
You gave me such a heart.
You gave me such a will to stand,
In You to play my part.
But now I’m stretched,
wearing thin.
Thinner by the day.
Refresh my soul,
Renew my thoughts.
Empower me, I pray.

Dear Jesus,
I am weary,
But I know you are near.
You and I have travelled far
Hold each other Dear.
My Faithful Friend.
My Saviour.
Forever in your Hands.
Pick me up,
Dust me off.
For You and I,
have Plans.

Isaiah 40:31,

'But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.' Amen.

This poem is like David's lament at Ziklag, but Psalm 18:1
is our assurance "I love You Oh Lord, my Strength."

Elizabeth, I really enjoyed this, as I do all of your work. Very very good!

Elizabeth, for your encouragement: Mount Up...

"Wait on the Lord," Isaiah says,

"And He will strengthen thee."

If you are faint, and full of fear,

To His protection flee.

Lift up your eyes, and look on high,

The way He'll help you see.

You'll mount with eagle wings again.

You'll soar, renewed and free.

You are weary in well-doing, but the Lord is with you...Keep looking up...Helen
