Is the path of suffering
The path of surrendering
The Path of sowing
Of balanced diet-eating
And of reading

The path of Blessing
Is investing in eternity
The Path of humility;
Taking correction
The Path of submission
Receiving instruction.

The path of Blessing
Is training for reigning
Bible-studying;
Against hope, hoping
Witnessing and
Reckless-giving


The path of Blessing
Is being teachable
And malleable;
Path of repentance
Obedience and
Of patience

The path of Blessing
Is hardship-enduring
Armour bearing
Exercising
Ceaselessly praying
And interceding.

The path of Blessing
Is burning mid-night oil
Getting hands dirty, soiled
Making sacrifice
Paying the price
Required for the Prize

The path of Blessing
Is God-fearing
Being responsible
Daily dying
Singing praises
In spite of circumstances
Not worrying
But trusting.
