Jesus Christ exhorted His followers not to judge hypocritically (Matt 7)
Yet today we see that many have distorted the teachings of the Gospel and as
A result would like to expel any member that questions their teaching
Many Christians are Biblically illiterate—
They rely more on the insights of their favourite Christian teachers
Than on their own personal study of God's Word
Some Christians believe that it is wrong for Christians to criticize
The teachings and practices of some Christian teachers—

The Bible teaches that all Christians should
Learn how to discern between orthodoxy and heresy
Many quote Psalm 105:15 to defend their cause…
They love applause but will not ‘pause’ to
See if they have gone astray—
They eventually pray against you and we
See on a number of occasions that
They are not willing to lay their lives down…
The notion that the verses forbid Christians from
Examining the teachings and practices of other
Christians is the result of faulty interpretation—
The Bible tells us to test everything so as saints
We don’t judge the person but the teaching of
The person and this is vital in the 21st century

Many Christian leaders speak out of zeal but a true
Study of Scripture will reveal the essence of truth—
The phrase “the Lord’s anointed” in Psalm 105:15
Typically refers to the ‘kings of Israel’
More importantly the words ‘do my prophets no harm’
Have to do with inflicting physical harm upon someone

We thank the Lord that we can remain calm
In the storm and we thank Him that He can
Maintain our sanity in His Holy Name
Our survival is in the name of the Lord and so
We understand that the Bible is not only
Useful for preaching, teaching and encouragement but it is
Equally Valuable for correcting and rebuking in our generation

The Bereans (Acts 17:11) checked Paul’s Teaching vigorously
They judged Paul's message to see whether or not Scripture did support it
However, the sad fact is that many Christians are Biblically illiterate
They rely more on the insights of their favourite Christian teachers
Than on their own personal study of God's
Beautiful Word

Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. Acts 17:11
