In this long, fatiguing season
I'm looking for an end
But should there be another stretch
Beyond that distant bend,
I know that You're still with me,
My ever-faithful Friend.
I know it's love that drives Your heart
When You say no again.

It's the path that You have ordered
Though most don't understand.
I can walk against the wind
Because I hold Your hand.
I still believe Your promise,
Your words still shine and glow.
I know that You will strengthen me
However far we go.
