I am a servant for the Lord,
Knowing He has never ignored;
And have kept every promise,
Has treated me with such kindness.

He gives me wisdom and good sense,
That helps me get through my defense;
And trusting every command,
Knowing I'm solid where I stand.

But there maybe a time someday,
That I might have started to stray;
And He has used His discipline,
As a punishment for my sin.

He is kindhearted for good things,
With all of the blessings He brings;
Though I have not deserve to earned,
In knowing that I have not learned.

But I will with all of my heart,
Study His laws for to impart;
Teaching others what I was taught,
Reminding them what they forgot.
