As a tree spouts from the earth,
Our mothers have given us birth;
When starting out as a tiny seed,
As God is giving us all we need.

An infant that is so tiny and frail,
We are strengthened for to prevail;
Nurturing while continue to grow,
And teaching as we ought to know.

At a young age we start to root,
Determining what kind of fruit;
When fully grown that we bear,
Depending on the type of care.

If growing up with a bad attitude,
Sour fruit maybe if we are rude;
But if growing spiritually upbeat,
Then we bear fruit that to be sweet.

By growing up through His Word,
Your branches reach up skyward;
With a yearning for more to seek,
Ensuring not to be spiritually weak.
