People have started getting rude,
Some are getting a real attitude;
Politeness is no longer the way,
For meeting each other in a day.

Seeing while driving on the road,
Reaction when the traffic slowed;
So impatient getting into a rage,
And exploding into the next stage.

Sons and daughters have no respect,
Of mom and dad authority reject;
Undisciplined children disobey,
Are spiteful when having to pay.

The Scriptures spell out all the rules,
Yet we just act like a bunch of fools;
Rather we want to do our own thing,
Disregarding just what it may bring.

God wants us to do what is right,
A prospect for Heaven we might;
But maybe having to pay the price,
And forgoing our trip into Paradise.
