A day comes when sons and daughters,
Eating and drinking in their home;
Will drown from the rising waters,
Rapid rising causing to foam.

The oxen were plowing the field,
While the donkeys fed by them;
Floods destroyed the entire yield,
As though the Lord tried to condemn.

The enemy fell upon them,
Taking them by striking them down;
Caused massive chaos and mayhem,
While all their livestock did drown.

I alone have escaped to tell you,
With swinging the double-edged sword;
For I was able to construe,
All the intentions of the Lord.

While I spoke there came another,
The fire of God from Heaven;
It burned up my sheep and brother,
Into the mind it was graven.

I alone escaped to tell you.
Another came while I spoke;
For deceiving from what is true,
Thought of the Gospel as a joke.

Three groups had formed to make a raid,
Taking down camels and the slaves;
While making people afraid,
Burying them in a mass grave.

Then there came a great gust of wind,
Striking four corners of the place;
Because they were not disciplined,
So, the Lord would not shed His grace.

It fell upon the young and old,
Men and women that were found dead;
As events started to unfold,
I tore my robe rising from bed.

I fell on the ground to worship,
Naked came I out of the womb;
The breath of the Lord woke me up,
Naked shall I be in the tomb.
