O God I take refuge in You,
With each and every day through;
You are my Lord nothing else good,
Without You there is nothing that would.

Those who lead holy lives on earth,
Are noble ones with having worth;
And are never out to destroy,
But fill everyone with joy.

Those who quickly chase other gods,
Are also sinful filthy frauds;
That will multiply their sorrows,
Throughout all of their tomorrows.

I will not pour out any blood,
As an offering for a flood;
Using my lips to speak the name,
Of any false god they proclaim.

I will praise only the true One,
That is three Father and the Son;
Along with the Holy Spirit,
To whom we are blessed through merit.

The merit for what is inside,
Of having faith and to abide;
Knowing that I have done my best,
So my body can securely rest.

For God has never abandoned me,
Throughout this life for I can see;
Protecting me when in the womb,
And will rescue me from the tomb.
