BEYOND
Beyond all of my tomorrows
lies a peaceful shade of blue
There unseen things and audible thoughts
Are all His splendor true
I am
Searching for that open space
Where God is never asleep
And angels wait to lend a wing
To carry me over the deep
Into the land of forgiveness
Where I will never more weep
I feel much closer every day
I can see its beauty rare
Especially when I’m lost in prayer
I see the city there
