Where are your thoughts during Praise and Worship?

Worshipping Jesus and giving him my praise brings such joy to the heart of Jesus. Not only does it bring Jesus joy, but I also receive joy as I enter in.

As I enter into worship with my brothers and sisters, I find myself making a conscious effort to give Jesus my undivided attention. Sometimes it takes a little while to clear my thoughts of what I'm having for dinner? What I'm doing when I get home, and whatever nonsense that pops into my head.

As I clear my thoughts and begin to focus on "The King of Kings and Lords of Lords," I begin to feel his joy. Some times I can't help but to cry, oh the joy that floods my soul.
As I bow before Jesus, just to give him reverence, to tell him how awesome and lovely he is; at times I feel as if God has given me special permission to enter in.

As I ask Jesus, how can I tell you thanks for all that you've done for me. So many tims I feel my father saying, just worship me, just give me praise, don't allow the rocks to cry out to me.

I desire to bless my Savior, to give him thanks and bless his name, because he truly has been good to me.
I remember once, when I had no joy, no praise on my lips, I left church weighted down, but as he began to lift the clouds and return my joy back to me, I made a promise that no matter who wasn't praising him, that I would.

God has never failed me yet, everytime that I open my mouth and begin to praise him, I can actually feel his presence.

The psalmist says in his presense there is fullness of joy and at his right hand there is pleasures for evermore.

I invite you to enter into worship, close out everything else around you, just to spend that intimate time with the father, telling him how much you love and adore him, I can promise you, it will be a time well spent.
