But wonder on, because in truth, she was many things to the lost, and a sincere comfort to all.
She lived a life with love for God, gently teaching that His light scared the darkness away,
Her encouraging words warmed the cold shattered halls, reciting His verses to hungry ears and the unsaved.
Vivian offered continuous help to those she sought, and likewise to those that fervently sought that in which they did not know,
She offered His truth and love, along with a warm genuine smile, bringing them freedom in and through His holy holy name.
Her mind spent and ravaged by a monster, but never did we see, her mantle always high atop but falling not,
Ever shall in the Lord we safely rest, by night, or break of day, earnest and unwavering we be, she'd say continuously to those she'd see.
Wretched pain of body and wrinkled flesh, she continued the race nonetheless, providing hope for so many individuals evermore,
Her optimism propelled the home to endless heights of peace and joy, and the Holy Bible...Hallelujah...was newly and purposedly restored.
For those that knew Vivian were fortunate indeed, for she never lost faith, or hope not one single day did she,
She led by righteous example with a burning light from within, bridging the gap of countless souls in mid-flight.
Her love for Christ and overly open rejoicing, set her way apart from those that could plainly see,
She disturbed those greatly who couldn't understand, yet offered hope to those on the fence and in the green fields.
Those who are weary take up His Yoke, it’s light and easy, her sweet final words with a peaceful smile said she,
In remembrance of her life, we all gathered for a heartfelt farewell, until next we see her whole and hearty, in the presence of the Son.
**Vivian was a woman of faith who brought joy and hope to everyone in her path. She ministered life and helped those in the nursing home until she passed away from Alzehimer's disease. Until the very end, she preached on about God, the clarity in which she spoke never ceased to astound me. Although her STM and various coginitive functioning ceased, the Bible and the love for God never left her, and she did utter those words at the end.
I've no doubt where she is right now. She was an inspiration I'm blessed to have known her, and to have been part of her life for many years."
