Feeding his flock; in secret sheds tears.
He lays his dreams at the foot of the Cross.
What he counts as gain, the world counts as loss.
He bows his head land,
He hears the clapping of the nail-scarred hands.
“My child, the tedious work is not in vain.
What you’ve done to the least, you’ve done in My name.”
A discouraged missionary cries in the night.
As the powers of Hell try to suffocate the light.
So many disappointments out of her control,
Still the call of God echoes in her soul.
She kneels in prayer on the foreign land.
That’s when she hears the clapping of the nail-scarred hands.
“My child, the tedious work is not in vain.
What you’ve done for the least, you’ve done in My name.”
An exhausted teacher in a Christian school,
Spends her days teaching children the Golden Rule.
In her heart she questions, ‘Is it worth my all?’
As she cries out to the Lord in the desert land,
That’s when she hears the clapping of the nail-scarred hands.
“My child, the tedious work is not in vain.
What you’ve done for the least, you’ve done in My name.”
To all who are weary, broken, in pain;
The call still stands. It’s not in vain.
Cry to the Lord from where you stand.
That’s when you’ll hear the clapping of the nail-scarred hands.

The "land" in the line "He bows his head land" doesn't seem to fit - what did you mean by this?
