When I woke up crying from the surgery in the hospital, my throat was sore, and I asked my parents if my tonsils were taking out, and they said that
"yes, my tonsils were taking out."
I could not understand why my throat had hurt so much. The hospital fed me ice cream, and it soothed my throat. A week later my throat was better, and we I was able to go camping with my folks the rest of the summer.
At the present time, I deal with anxiety about whether if I were to drive again that I would get into a car accident. I had the accident 6 years ago during the pandemic. I felt suicidal because I felt bad what I did. I drove through a red light without thinking. I never did that before. I rode in the ambulance to the hospital because I had bruises, and chest pain.
6 months later I had a law student deal with my case. I googled search the accident online, and I could have been fined 400.00 dollars, but the judge only fined me for 150.00 for an improper turn. The policer officer arrested me for careless driving, and she gave me a ticket. I also had a breathalyzer test.
I drove 5 years later without getting into another accident, and I prayed to God that I would never have an accident like that again. I am presently on medication anxiety and depression. I have a good doctor who I have been seeing for every 6 to 8 weeks.
When I think about unpredictable things, I read the bible, and I came across where it says, "Anxiety Not!" So I read the passage, and it makes me feel better. There are times when I might come across things that make me worried such as my son and daughters future. I know that I have to leave that in God's hands.
