Topic: PURE (09/06/24)
It's hard to pure just like God. All of us are human. and I met a lot of people who laugh sarcastically like, " Oh yea. Do you think you could do it?" or "Do you think your more special like than anybody else?"
Some people like to let others down because they probably that they are better than anybody else.

In high school, I tried to hold my tongue by not saying anything when I was being spit on or punched by a couple of guys. One time I said,
"Go to Hell!" I should not have said it because I was a Christian, and I still am. I bad slid along the way by drinking and throwing wine glasses at the washroom stalls in the lady's room when I was at a bar.
I was getting further from God from I acted. Shortly before that incident, I met a Christian Guy from a dating service. His name was John. He said that he loved me. We were seeing each other for only month. He met my parents, and he invited me to bible study.

After a month, he said he only wanted to be friends with me, and that was it. He did not want to rush anything. I asked him,
"Do you still love me?"
"I don't know, Cheryl. I think I do. I am too busy to see any girls right now. I don't have the money to take you out."
I felt sad that he said that. I went into the house, and I threw myself on the bed, and cried. I told my mother about it, and she said
"Don't bother him or he won't see you anymore."
I phoned John at work, and said that I was going to commit suicide, and then I hung up. At bible I found out that he was involved with another girl, and he married her. I was already dating a man who is my husband now. I reluctantly accepted it.

A few years later I found from John's aunt that he divorced that girl whom he met from bible study he and married someone else. I was glad that I was not involved with John.

My husband and I had had our ups and downs. We fought, and argued, and made our way to each other. We all have our flaws. There is a saying, "To error is human."

I enjoy a good ramble but was hoping it came back to the point of redemption through Jesus. Only in Him are we pure.

One suggestion: print out your entry and read it out loud - this helps me catch missing words etc

Your honesty is refreshing. It’s not always easy to be open but you have shared some very relatable things. There are some grammar errors - proof-reading gets better with practice. Your quote at the end should possibly read ‘to err is human.’ The full quote is ‘to err is human, to forgive is divine,’ and although you didn’t use the full quote it still made me think of the forgiveness of Jesus. I like your angle on the word pure, it shows you are thinking outside the box. I look forward to reading more of your work.
