Previous Challenge Entry (Level 2 – Intermediate)
Topic: WAIT (05/21/20)
When I am in a supermarket, I hate in huge line ups in a checkout stations. When the traffic light is red for more than five minutes, I start to panic, and think the light has a malfunction.

When I am at a line up waiting to get into the beach with my husband then I feel that it is well worth the wait because I love swimming at the sandy beach, and sitting in the sun.

Every year when I have to renew my licence plate, I go to "Service Ontario," and I have about 10 people in ahead of me in line. I have to tell myself while I am waiting that this line will not take forever. When it's my turn to be served at licence vehicle place, I thought that it was well worth the wait.

Now that the covid 19 exists world wide, I am not able to swim indoor pools, and beaches will probably be closed for most of the summer season. I know that just like everybody else that I have to be patient and pray that there will be a cure for this disease.

I relate to your frustration. Find someone to help you edit. I find reading out loud helps me find a better flow.

Take a little time to think out your message. Start with a strong hook and finish with a punch. There are plenty of opportunities to pull the reader into this story. Put emotion into the long waits. Get the reader engaged! Keep writing!
