As children of the King of Kings, we need to know His way and commands. It is the covenant of Jehovah that establishes us in the depth of our spiritual ground.
As we feast at the table on the milk and honey from heaven, let it stretch our roots. And feed our limbs as they reach toward the sky. Grow; grow thick and strong roots beneath the ground. Drink, drink the water from God’s well.
As the spirit within us is maturing, the fruit begins to sprout. The leaves of righteousness are lush and flowing as the Holy Spirit ushers by. Fruit feed. Fruit nourish the multitude hungering to reach for You.
As aged and strong mighty trees, we stand our ground. The storms come. We sway above yet never stagger to the ground. The Word has made our roots run deep, and the trials have toughened our skin.
As we allow our foundation to receive from you Oh Lord, help us to remember we are your created. Yahweh, our branches praise you. Our leaves clap their hands. For your Living Word is the Truth that sustains our outside and calms us from within.
